After the success of the first edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the government and the industry are considering hosting the second edition next year between January 17 and 22. The Expo will be held across multiple venues in Delhi-NCR, including Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi Convention Center and India Expo Mart.

The component show, however, could be held between January 18 and 21 at the new Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre) in Dwarka, according to sources.

Our sister publication Autocar Professional had earlier reported that the Bharat Mobility Expo will now become an annual event. The Department of Commerce held a virtual meeting with major industry associations, including the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers' Association and Confederation of Indian Industries, to discuss and finalise the dates for Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Until last year, the vehicle and component expos were held as two separate events, organised by the SIAM and ACMA, respectively, once every two years. However, from this year, it has been decided that the vehicle and components expo will be held under the umbrella of the Bharat Mobility brand, and associations can own their expos and related events as a sub-brand of Bharat Mobility.

The idea of Bharat Mobility Global Expo was put forward by the Ministry of Commerce to showcase India as a mobility hub by bringing the entire mobility ecosystem on one platform, in one exhibition. Major manufacturers, suppliers and companies from allied sectors, such as batteries, charging, steel and tyres, participated in the expo.
