The first edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo will take place from February 1-3, 2024 at the Bharat Mandapam convention centre in New Delhi. The event will focus on mobility solutions for the future and on display will be concept vehicles, EV charging and battery technology, urban mobility solutions, autonomous driving technology and a variety of powertrains.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 will see more than 600 brands from over 50 countries participate. Prominent carmakers include BMW, Force, Honda cars, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Skoda, Tata Motors, Toyota and more. Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed that it will showcase the EQG SUV concept, along with the facelifts of the GLA and the AMG GLE 53 Coupe, which will be launched on January 31.
Not just four-wheeler companies, but several two-wheeler manufacturers will also be setting up stalls at the event. These include companies like Ather, Bajaj, Hero, Honda bikes, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, TVS and more.
Additionally, while Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast appears on Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024's list of participants, the company clarified with us that it will not be present at the event. It recently signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government for a new EV manufacturing plant in the state that boasts an annual capacity of up to 1,50,000 units.
When it comes to alternative fuels, the USA and Brazil lead the world in terms of ethanol production. The two countries will be represented by the US Grains Council (USGC) and the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association.
