RACR – Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing is a brainchild of international motorcycle racer Rajini Krishnan will host its inaugural on-track motorcycle training session on September 9-10 at the Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai.
Apart from Rajini, RACR instructors include former endurance world champion Alex Cudlin, WSBK technical director/crew chief Andrew Stone among others.
RACR aims to allow riders of different levels to improve and get proficient in riding a motorcycle faster. Whether it is hardwired errors, incorrect observations or responses – nothing goes amiss by the RACR trainers.
A greater understanding of bike and rider interaction features as well, where a specialist helps you understand your interaction with the bike and how to dial in the motorcycle in terms of suspension setup in so on. Everyone has a unique riding style and having the bike dialled in to your liking has a massive rub-off on rider confidence and eventually your speed on a race track.
At RACR, one on one sessions with trainers and coaches are held to ensure that all problem areas are addressed.
All participants usually need to bring in their own motorcycles with tyres, brakes and engine in good conditions to pass scrutiny and be allowed onto the track. However for the upcoming session, RACR will be provided a limited number of motorcycles on a first come first served basis, courtesy TVS Racing.
The fee for the two-day training session is Rs. 26,000. Visit www.racr.in to register.
