TVS emerged as the big winner at Round 1 of the 2024 MRF MMSC Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), held at the Madras International Circuit on June 14-15, 2024. The manufacturer swept both the premier Pro-Stock 301-400cc and Pro-Stock 165cc classes.
This year's season opener saw several double wins with Sarthak Chavan, Abdul Basim RS, Rakshitha Dave, and Kaushik Subbiah Ganesan each winning both races in their respective categories.
Pro-Stock 301-400cc
17-year-old Chavan turned his pole position into a dominant victory in Race 1, which was shortened to four laps due to a red flag stoppage caused by a crash. He followed this up with another win the next day, while his TVS Racing teammate Chiranth Vishwanath secured second place in both races.

Pro-Stock 165cc
In the Pro-Stock 165cc class, Chavan faced setbacks suffering crashes in both races. And with him out of the race, reigning champion KY Ahamed narrowly edged out his mentor Jagan Kumar for victory in Race 1. However, Kumar bounced back to clinch Race 2, marking his first victory after a challenging 2023 season.

The number of races in the Girl Stock 165cc class has doubled this season, with each round now featuring two races. 15-year-old Rakshitha Dave secured a pair of commanding wins, defeating Jagathishree Kumaresan and former champion Ryhana Bee.

The round also saw the return of TVS' Electric RTE category. Chavan claimed a comfortable victory in this race, defeating Vishwanath and Alwyn Sundar.
