As part of his efforts to raise money for research on prostate cancer, Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas has launched a new calendar that features 12 high-resolution pictures of him in the nude.
The 'Bot-ass' calendar is available on his website for €21(Rs 1,900, excluding shipping), of which €5 (around Rs 450) will go to the Movember movement, which focuses on research towards male suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer, among other causes. The Finnish Formula 1 driver is not the only member from the F1 paddock doing his part for the cause, with other teams and drivers too chipping in.
This is not the first time that Bottas has bared his bum for a good cause. In May last year, 5,000 prints of his nude photo were sold and proceeds from the sale were given to charity.
The Finnish driver currently drives for Sauber Alfa Romeo, who are currently P9 in the constructors standing for this year. The upcoming Abu Dhabi GP will be the team's last race with the Alfa Romeo livery, as it will return to the Sauber Works teams for the 2024 season. From 2026, the Sauber team will compete in F1 as Audi’s works team. Bottas has previously raced with Mercedes-AMG and has helped them win five Constructors' championships.
