    JK’s Formula Pacific India plans

JK Tyre is all set to launch the Formula Pacific Championship which is slated to be its new premium single-seater class. This will directly take on the MRF Formula Championship which is in its second season now.

The Formula Pacific series will be a high-powered one-spec single-seater racing series which will attract the best of the young talent from India and Europe. Details of the single-seater has not been revealed as yet, but the Formula car is believed to be much superior than the Formula Rolon single-seater which is JK’s current premium class series.

Surprisingly, JK Tyre’s new one-spec series is also believed to be a support race for the Indian Grand Prix in October this year, following MRF’s confirmation last year to run its Formula Championship as a support race for the same.

Until now, JK Tyre would hold its annual racing Championship which included Formula Rolon class, Formula LGB Swift, Formula Hyundai Endurance race, and Super Saloon categories. It is speculated that the all-new Formula Pacific Championship will also form a part of JK’s annual Championship calendar.
