Front seats are big & comfortable, though a little firm

Dashboard is in line with latest Kias
Material quality is really good.
Switchable HVAC/audio controls aren't intuitive.
12.3-inch touchscreen looks slick and techy

Engine and performance

2.2-litre diesel engine now uses an aluminium block instead of a cast-iron block.
New Carnival's performance is unhurried but ample.

Ride and handling

Ride quality is solid and stable, with some harshness over larger bumps.
New power steering aids manoeuvrability at low speeds and confidence at higher speeds.
