New V4 engine makes more power and revs higher than before.

Despite carrying more fuel, bike is 13kg lighter than earlier 1260.

Ride quality is quite amenable, nicest big-capacity Ducati within urban limits.

Instantly recognizable but over-styled and plasticky in some areas.

New 5-inch TFT dash is larger than before, Bluetooth is a Rs 8,000 optional extra.

Verdict

While it is quite pricey, the new Diavel manages to elevate the experience and is more user-friendly than before.
