Hero Destini 125

Quick review

All-new design blends retro and modern elements, looks good for the most part but the rear section is polarising.

Quality is good all across and it has a long feature-list including Bluetooth display, boot light, auto cancelling indicators and a boot light.

Ride quality is plush and it is composed through just about everything.

Seat comfort too is good and two large adults can sit comfortably, 770mm perch means easy for shorter riders to get their feet down.

The 124.6cc engine makes the same 9hp and 10.4Nm as before but CVT tuning is different for added refinement and bolstering mileage (claimed 59kpl).

Two areas of improvement are a larger boot, 19 litre area is far short of market average and a smoother fuel-saving start/stop system operation

If you're on the lookout for a 125cc family scooter, the Hero Destini 125 has gone from being the backbencher to a serious contender now and it deserves your attention.
