Quick review

The Honda Transalp 750 is not a scaled down Africa Twin, even though that’s what many people would expect it to be.

The Transalp is a large bike, but at 208kg it’s not as big as the likes of the BMW 850 GS or Triumph Tiger 900 and it feels nicely manageable.

For a road-biased tourer like the Transalp not having cruise control is a downer, and if you want a quickshifter, that will cost more as well.

Optional extras on Transalp are very pricey and fully-loaded this bike is priced a little too high for its own good.

Verdict

The Transalp is a bike that the casual adventure motorcycle enthusiast will enjoy, particularly since it makes for an excellent tourer.
