BMW calls this a ‘2.5-box design’, alluding to its flowing roofline that’s meant to give a more coupe-like shape.

Tyres
- Tyres all around are narrow 225/55 R18s with tall sidewalls.
- Old 5 had staggered setup, with 275/40 R18s at the rear.

- 3,105mm wheelbase is 110mm longer than the i5.
- It's 212mm longer than the previous 5 Series.
