Kawasaki Z900

In the run-up to EICMA, Kawasaki has updated the Z900 with new styling, more features and better componentry.

New design philosophy, in line with latest Z models.

Electronic throttle enables a bidirectional quickshifter and cruise control now.

IMU assistance brings in cornering ABS and traction control.

New 5-inch TFT dash now offered, gets Bluetooth connectivity and voice command.

Same 948cc motor but now makes 123hp and 97.4Nm of torque (down by 2hp and 1.2Nm of torque).

Base Z900 now uses radially-mounted Nissin 4-piston calipers, weighs 213kg (1kg more) and has an 830mm perch (up by 10mm).

SE variant gets Brembo brakes, fully-adjustable suspension including an Ohlins monoshock, weighs 1kg more than standard bike at 214kg

Standard Z900 is expected to launch in India next year with a small price increment over current bike’s Rs 9.38 lakh price tag.
