Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

Quick review

The Guerrilla 450 is Royal Enfield’s stab at infiltrating a segment it has never been in.

The sculpted fuel tank extrusions and clean tail section particularly remind of the Himalayan and in a good way.

The fuel tank feels quite large despite holding just 11-litres and even with those styling extrusions along the side there’s no interference where your knees meet the tank.

With its chunky block pattern Ceat tyres, you might think there’s some scrambler-capability built into this bike, but it is very much a pure roadster.

The Guerrilla leans over quite a long way before scraping its footpegs and the Ceat tyres work remarkably well in terms of grip.

The braking set-up is largely similar to the Himalayan except for a slightly smaller 310mm disc.

The Guerrilla uses the same 452cc 40hp/40Nm liquid cooled engine as the Himalayan with a slightly different tune aimed at spicing up the lower to mid range performance.

Gets three variants; Analogue, Dash and Flash. Flash being the ranging topping variant.

The Guerilla 450 is an appealing and fun to ride roadster, but it isn’t really doing anything unique or game changing.
