Triumph Scrambler 400 X

Quick review

Same engine and chassis as Speed 400.

Its a good handler but one you want to ride at a quick pace, not flat out.

Decent off-roading chops but not a hardcore ADV like the Himalayan.

Differences to Speed 400

19-inch front wheel here, shod with dual-purpose MRF rubber.

Front brake feels dull despite larger rotor, doesn’t get sintered pads like Speed.

Taller 835mm seat height may put off shorter riders, 195mm ground clearance puts it in Himalayan territory.
