I opted for the Sonet because I wanted something that could balance practicality with a premium feel, and the Sonet delivers on both fronts. Its sharp design and bold front grille make it stand out in a sea of compact SUVs. The 1.5L engine offers a great mix of performance and efficiency, making it perfect for both city driving and longer highway trips. The ride is smooth, and the suspension handles bumps and potholes well, keeping things comfortable. I love how responsive the steering is—perfect for tight spaces and quick turns. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the segment, with a large touchscreen, wireless charging, and leather upholstery in higher trims. I can comfortably fit my family, and there’s enough boot space for weekend trips. Fuel efficiency is decent, giving me around 16-17 km/l on average. The only thing I’d say could improve is the rear seat comfort for longer journeys, but for day-to-day use, it’s more than adequate. Overall, the Kia Sonet strikes a great balance between style, comfort, and performance. It’s a compact SUV that feels much more premium than its price suggests, and I’m glad I made the choice.
