Driving the GLA is a pleasure. The 2.0L engine delivers ample power for both city commutes and highway cruises, while the smooth 8-speed dual-clutch transmission makes gear shifts almost seamless. Whether it's navigating traffic or taking it for a longer drive, the ride is smooth, comfortable, and well-planted, with the suspension handling bumps effortlessly. Inside, the cabin feels plush with top-tier materials, a crisp touchscreen infotainment system, and loads of tech like Apple CarPlay and voice recognition. The seats are supportive, and there’s enough space for both front and rear passengers, though the rear could be a bit tight for taller folks on longer journeys. Fuel efficiency is decent for a luxury SUV, with around 12-14 km/l in mixed driving conditions. The only real downside is the boot space, which is a bit limited compared to other SUVs in the same category. Overall, the GLA offers the luxury, performance, and practicality I was looking for in a compact SUV. It’s a fantastic daily driver that still feels special every time I get behind the wheel.
