The 2024 Nissan X-Trail doesn’t quite wow, but it gets the basics right. The design is fine, though it doesn’t stand out in a crowded market. Inside, the cabin is comfortable and functional, but there’s nothing that truly sets it apart from competitors. The 2.5-liter engine is decent for daily driving, but it lacks the power and excitement I was hoping for, and the CVT can be a bit noisy at times. The third-row seats are cramped, so this is more of a 5-seater than a true 7-seater, and the cargo space isn’t particularly impressive when all the seats are in use. While the X-Trail offers good fuel efficiency and modern tech, it doesn’t offer the level of excitement or practicality that some rivals bring to the table. It’s a decent option, but nothing to get too excited about.
