Estimated Price
The upcoming Creta EV will be Hyundai’s first mainstream EV in our market which will be positioned against the likes of Maruti e Vitara and Tata Curvv EV. It will be an ICE to EV conversion, meaning it will use a heavily modified version of the ICE-powered Creta’s platform. The Creta EV is expected to use a front-axle mounted electric motor, and will likely come with a 45kWh battery pack. A lot of interior switchgear, dashboard and even some exterior sheet metal parts are expected to be shared with the regular Creta to keep costs in check. In typical Hyundai fashion, expect the Creta EV to be equipped with plenty of features. Hyundai Creta EV price in India is expected to start at Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom. Hyundai Creta EV launch date is January 17, at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025.
