We bought a Mahindra Bolero in December 2018 and it has since covered 12,000km. My father passed away due to COVID-19 and we haven’t driven it much after that as it’s too big for us. I’ve been asking my mother to change the car before its resale value drops, so please give me suggestions.

Autocar India says: Firstly, our condolences to you and your family for your father’s demise. We understand that after his passing, family members aren’t too keen to drive the Bolero as it can be heavy and cumbersome. It’s best you sell it and replace it with a car your mother can drive easily; perhaps a smaller compact SUV would be nice as they are not only easy to drive, but you’d also benefit from quite a few more features and creature comforts. Boleros hold their resale value quite well so you should get a decent price for it. We suggest you post your details on spinny.com, which is known to give good prices and offer a seamless selling experience.
