Range Rover Sport or Audi Q8: which is more reliable and easier to maintain?

The Sport is available with both petrol and diesel engines, while the Q8 is petrol-only.

I am confused between the new Range Rover Sport and the Audi Q8. I drive around 1 lakh km in 4-5 years, so I want a car that doesn’t burn a hole in my pocket when it comes to maintenance.

Autocar India says: The Range Rover Sport is more desirable than the Audi Q8 thanks to its design, road presence, plush cabin and the way it drives. However, Range Rovers don’t have the best reputation for reliability, and can be expensive to maintain. The Audi Q8 is a very smooth and refined performer. However, the Range Rover Sport with its new CKD pricing is very tempting, and that would be our pick. Given your running, you’d be better off with the Sport’s diesel variant, while the Q8 is only available in petrol guise.
