The Skoda Kushaq range has seen quite a significant revision recently, with new names for variants, at new price points. For now, prices for the Kushaq midsize SUV start at Rs 10.89 lakh and go up to Rs 18.79 lakh, which is a considerable reduction compared to the Creta fighter’s earlier price range of Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh. Read on to find out what features are available with which variant, and at what price.
The previous variant line-up – Active, Ambition and Style – has been replaced by Classic, Signature and Prestige. The recently introduced Onyx trim continues to be available, as does the Monte Carlo. The entry-level Classic and Onyx trims only get the 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, with the latter also getting the 6-speed automatic option. The Signature, Prestige and Monte Carlo are available with the aforementioned 1.0 TSI, and the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol that comes with 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch auto options.

ARAI-rated fuel-efficiency figures for the 1.0 TSI are 19.76kpl (MT) and 18.09kpl (AT), while the 1.5 TSI delivers 18.6kpl (MT) and 18.86kpl (DCT). Interestingly, the Kushaq Monte Carlo is no longer the most expensive version of the SUV on sale, with the range-topping Prestige trim taking that honour.
Skoda offers four monotone colour options with the Kushaq – Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brillant Silver, Tornado Red and Lava Blue. The Brilliant Silver finish is also offered with a contrasting Carbon Steel roof. In addition, the Monte Carlo trim gets two exclusive dual-tone options – Candy White with a Carbon Steel roof, and Tornado Red with a Carbon Steel roof.
