TVS has just launched the all-new Jupiter 110 for Rs 73,700. The 110cc scooter category is highly competitive, so let’s see how the new Jupiter stacks up against some of its closest rivals.

The new Jupiter 110 now delivers slightly more power and torque than its predecessor. It still isn't the most powerful scooter in its segment and falls behind the Hero Pleasure Plus by a small margin. The Pleasure Plus also has the highest power-to-weight ratio in this comparison. However, thanks to its new hybrid assist feature, the Jupiter 110 now produces the most amount of torque in its segment both with and without the assist.

The Jupiter 110 boasts of the longest wheelbase in this comparison, with the Honda Activa in second place. Both the Activa and the new Jupiter weigh the same, while the Hero Pleasure Plus is considerably lighter. The Activa also has the largest fuel capacity in this comparison, with the Jupiter coming in a close second. Additionally, both the Activa and Jupiter have nearly identical ground clearance, with the latter having a slight edge.

The TVS Jupiter 110 and Honda Activa feature similar suspension setups at the front and rear, while the Hero Pleasure Plus uses a bottom link setup at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The TVS Jupiter 110 rides on 12-inch wheels, whereas the Activa has a 12-inch wheel at the front and a 10-inch wheel at the rear. The Hero Pleasure Plus currently has the most affordable price tag, followed closely by the TVS Jupiter 110 and the Honda Activa. However, the Jupiter 110’s top-spec variant is the most expensive in this comparison. It is worth noting that the Jupiter 110 is the only motorcycle in this comparison to offer a front disc setup, which explains its higher asking price.
