    Ignite the night

Renault India knows what works in our market, and has just launched exclusive new versions of its Kiger SUV, Triber seven-seater, and Kwid hatchback. The aptly named Urban Night editions for these three already excellent cars provide customers with more bang for their buck, and that’s not just in terms of design. In fact, all three get some features that have never been seen before in their respective segments, underlining Renault’s innovative approach, and its relentless focus on delivering the best cutting-edge tech to its customers.

The Renault Kiger, which is without a doubt one of the best-looking cars in its segment thanks to that oh-so-gorgeous French flair, looks even more dashing now. While the Stealth Black body colour isn’t new for this beautiful compact SUV, the Urban Night edition adds sensually contrasting Stardust Silver accents on the front and rear skid plates, on the doors, and even on the boot lid. But that’s not all. The Kiger Urban Night edition boasts of a segment-first Smart Mirror Monitor, which adds a degree of safety and security that is usually seen in cars that are far more expensive.

Supremely easy to use via a smartphone app, the Smart Mirror Monitor is essentially made up of two cameras. The forward-facing dash cam can capture everything going on in the front – providing proof in the event of a mishap or even capturing serene landscapes on your drive – while the rear camera assists drivers while reversing, even in low light conditions. You can even download your videos and share them with your loved ones. The Kiger Urban Night’s cabin also comes with advanced ambient lighting – configurable via a smartphone app – illuminated scuff plates and a puddle lamp.

The Renault Triber Urban Night will also debut with the daring Stealth Black finish and suitably contrasting Stardust Silver touches (in the same vein as the Kiger), while also benefiting from the ingenious (and segment-first) Smart Mirror Monitor, illuminated scuff plates and a puddle lamp.

Meanwhile, the Kwid Urban Night looks almost brand new thanks to the Stealth Black paint all around, the dashing Piano Black finish on the ORVMs and Stardust Silver contrasts in a variety of places – from the headlamp bezels, bumpers and roof rails to the boot lid and the stylish flex wheel covers. Those stepping into this exclusive version of the Kwid will also appreciate sensible changes like the illuminated scuff plates, and a puddle lamp.

For the Kiger Urban Night edition, one can choose between the powerful and torquey 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine or the extremely economical 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit. The former also gets the option of the high-tech X-Tronic CVT gearbox, which will enhance all aspects of your drive. The Triber and the Kwid Urban Night editions are powered by a pair of 1.0-litre petrol engines, which deliver a drive experience quite unlike anything in their respective arenas. Both of them can be had with either the automatic or manual transmission options.

The trio of Renaults are ready to claim the night as wherever they go, they’ll attract eyeballs with their almost understated, yet bold looks, and, of course, the practical and safety-enhancing features – after all, both, the Kiger and the Triber have been awarded four stars in Global NCAP’s safety tests. Choose your favourite Renault quickly for there are only 300 units of each on sale.
