At the recently concluded EICMA 2024, Hero had a number of new bikes on display, one of which was the Karizma XMR 250. We list out the differences between the new 250 and the Karizma XMR 210 that’s currently on sale.

Karizma 250 vs 210: engine, power

The obvious difference between the two Karizma models are the engines. The Karizma XMR 250 uses a new 250cc engine, rated for 30hp and 25Nm of torque (the 210cc Hero mill makes 25.5hp and 20.7Nm). The increase in displacement over the 210 is achieved by a 7mm longer stroke but both motors use the same head and crank cases.

Karizma 250 vs 210: features, design

With a USD fork, TFT display, switchable ABS modes and small winglets, the Karizma XMR 250 is definitely the more feature-rich motorcycle here. The overall design on the 250, though familiar, is different enough to the 210. The fairing has been redesigned slightly as has the exhaust muffler and the winglets do add some visual mass at the front.

The Karizma XMR 250 also gets adjustable clip-ons, which will help the rider tailor their seating position based on their needs.
