    What are you driving/riding, and why?

    I own a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC (C126) and a 1989 500 SL (R129). I also have two Yamaha RD350s.

    What’s next on your wish list?

    I just want my two Mercs to be restored to perfection.

    The most fun you’ve had in a car?

    Driving my instructor’s 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Daytona Beach, USA.

    Favourite/dream money-no-object car?

    A R129-gen SL with zero miles (or even mine, completely factory restored).

    Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?

    Ayrton Senna.

    Favourite road?

    The fast hairpin roads in Montana, USA.

    What’s on your automotive bucket list?

    A Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG (R129).

    What would you do with your last litre of fuel?

    Put it in my Kinetic Honda scooter, where it would last the longest.

    Princess Diana’s 500 SL (R129)

    Ayrton Senna’s 500 SEC (C126)

    What was your first car/bike?

    My current 500 SL, which I only bought this year! I had always wanted the R129 to be my first car –since 1989.
