The Carnival is Kia's premium MPV for India. At 5.1m long, the Carnival is significantly longer than the Innova Crysta. The Carnival is available in three seating configurations. Ice cube fog lamps and LED headlamps standard on Prestige and Limousine trims. Rear lights get LED treatment on Prestige and Limousine versions. It's quite a step up into the Carnival's cabin. Three row versions get deep recess in luggage area. Third row folds flat into the floor. Carnival dash is user-friendly and comes finished in high quality materials. Driver's seat gets 10 way power adjust and ventilation. There's lots of room to stretch out in the middle row. The middle row captain's chairs can be slid fore and aft. Middle row leg rests are exclusive to Limousine trim. Limousine's armrests have restricted movement. Limousine's middle row seats get a range of settings. It's easy to find a kneeroom compromise in the third row. 7 and 8-seat Premium versions get 'stand-up' seats that fold out to ease access. Four row seat layout is exclusive to 9 seat Carnival. 9 seat Carnival offers fair comfort for row 2 occupants. Third row seating position on 9 seat Carnival is knees-up. 9 seat Carnival's fourth row is tight on space. With all four rows in place, the 9 seat Carnival offers no luggage room. 9 seat Carnival's fourth row folds to sit flush with the floor. UVO connected tech now gets smart watch functionality. Three-zone climate control is standard across the range. Premium and Prestige versions get foot-operated parking brake. Spare tyre sits under body at B-pillar. Second glovebox handy to store small items. You'll reach out for the grab handle when getting in. Power sliding doors are standard. Dual sunroofs a feature that will be well appreciated. All three rows of windows get sun visors. 220V power socket is a useful inclusion. Rear seat entertainment screens support screen mirroring. Front and rear parking sensors are a big help. Top-spec Carnival gets air purifier. 2.2-litre diesel makes 200hp and 440Nm.
