    Mahindra XUV500 W4 launched at Rs 10.83 lakh

    We had earlier reported Mahindra’s plan to introduce a new, base variant of the XUV500, and now the carmaker has launched the XUV500 W4 at Rs 10.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

    The entry level W4 model of the Mahindra XUV500 is powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that puts out 140bhp and comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

    Standard kit on the W4 variant includes projector headlamps with LEDs, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, disc brakes all round, tilt-adjustable power steering, electric wing mirrors, and remote central locking, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat and foldable second and third row seats. 

    Speaking at the launch of the W4 model of the Mahindra XUV500, Dr Pawan Goenka, executive director and president, automotive and farm equipment sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra. said, "The XUV500 has resonated very well with our customers since its launch and has since become a trendsetter within the Indian automotive industry. With over 74,000 vehicles on the road within two years of launch, the XUV500 is one of our most successful launches. As a customer centric organisation, we have incorporated customer feedback at every step and evolved and today's W4 model launch bears testimony to the same".

    Mahindra XUV500 W4 - Rs 10.83 lakh
    Mahindra XUV500 W6 - Rs 11.90 lakh
    Mahindra XUV500 W8 FWD - Rs 13.49 lakh
    Mahindra XUV500 W8 AWD - Rs 14.55 lakh
