Suzuki took the wraps off its iV-4 crossover concept at the Frankfurt motor show. The production version of the SUV is currently under development and the car is expected to go on sale sometime late in 2014. The iV-4 will slot in below the Grand Vitara and may be introduced here after international markets.
The iV-4 concept measures in at 4,215mm long, 1,850mm wide and 1,655mm tall and its front is dominated by an illuminated five-slot grille and roof-mounted fog lights with built-in laser sensor. At the rear, there are blackened mouldings, chrome diffuser, angular tail-lamps and twin exhausts. On the sides, the concept sports distinct lines that lend a futuristic character to the car. However, these stylistic influences are unlikely to be carried over to the production version.
As far engine options go, the production version is likely to be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options, although there is no official confirmation on this yet.
