Honda has launched the OBD-2 compliant versions of its H’ness CB350 and its CB350RS, with prices ranging between Rs 2.10 lakh-2.15 lakh for the former and Rs 2.15 lakh-2.18 lakh for the latter. Save for new colour schemes and updated emissions compliance, the bikes continue to be the same as the outgoing models.
- New top-spec variant for both bikes
- More colours to choose from
- Mechanically identical to previous versions
Updated Honda H’ness CB350, CB350RS: details
Both bikes have now received a significant price hike with this update, which seems a bit steep when you consider just how little has changed. The air-cooled 349cc, single-cylinder engine continues to make the same 21hp and 30Nm of torque, while adhering to the stricter emission norms.
The H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS have also received a new top-spec trim – DLX Pro Chrome and DLX Pro Dual Tone, respectively. Essentially, this replaces the DLX Pro variant as the top-of-the-line variant on both bikes.
The H’ness CB350 gets an updated blue colour with two white stripes running across the tank as well as a redesigned grey/black colourway. The DLX Pro trims also get a tan split-seat set-up as standard. The CB350RS now gets two new colours, a glossy blue as well as a matte grey/black colourway.
Prices for the H’ness CB350 now start at Rs 2.10 lakh for the entry-level DLX trim, Rs 2.12 lakh for the DLX Pro trim and go up to Rs 2.15 lakh for the range-topping DLX Pro Chrome trim.
The CB350RS range now starts at Rs 2.15 lakh for the DLX, while the DLX Pro and DLX Pro Dual Tone trims both cost an identical Rs 2.18 lakh. These new prices make the H’ness CB350 roughly Rs 7,000-9,000 dearer variant-for-variant, while the CB350RS is more expensive by approximately Rs 9,000-12,000.
