It seems like the Pulsar N150 is not the only model in Bajaj’s popular Pulsar line-up that will be getting an update soon, with these images giving us a glimpse at a revamped Pulsar NS160.

  1. Pulsar NS160 gets fully digital dash, new switchgear
  2. Design might be updated as well
  3. Expected to stay mechanically unchanged

This update seems to be focused on bringing the dated feature-set of the Pulsar NS160 up to today’s high standards. While it isn’t clearly visible here, there seems to be an entirely new digital display on this test mule, although whether it's a TFT or LCD unit remains to be seen. The switchgear too is all-new with a new button sitting above the indicator toggle switch, seemingly to control the functions of this new digital dash.

With multiple rivals like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and the Suzuki Gixxer 150 offering fully digital instrumentation, the current Pulsar NS160’s digi-analogue setup is feeling quite outclassed now.

This particular test mule also featured LED indicators and different tank extensions, which could hint at this update also bringing in new styling. The design of the current Pulsar NS160 is now well over a decade old and can trace its roots back to when the NS200 first debuted back in 2012.

Both the Pulsar NS160 and NS200 were updated last year with a USD fork and to read more about that, tap here. The current Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and you can expect the updated model to carry a small premium for the new features and design updates it will bring.
