Bajaj has teased an update for the Pulsar N150 on its social media handles and this will be the first time the new model gets updated since its launch. The N150 replaced the P150 in Bajaj’s popular Pulsar lineup sporting the same underpinnings as the latter but borrowing styling cues from the more aggressive N160.
- Bike appears to be mechanically identical
- Could get Bluetooth connectivity, new colours
While not much is visible in the teaser, the bike is undoubtedly a Pulsar N150, due to the fact that it has a single seat and also because the bike’s badging is clearly visible albeit briefly.
The bike in the video appears to be mechanically identical to the current bike and even has the same cycle parts. So most likely the features area is where the N150 will be looking to close the gap to other 150-160cc bikes in the connectivity department. Nearly all other competitors from Yamaha and TVS offer some sort of Bluetooth connectivity and perhaps Bajaj could be looking to offer something along those lines with this update.
Another avenue Bajaj could go down is that it could offer new colours and graphics on the N150 just like Yamaha did for most of its popular bikes.
The Pulsar N150 is powered by an air-cooled, 150cc, single-cylinder mill that's good for 14.5hp and 13.5Nm. We’ve found this to be quite a refined unit in our time with it so expect that to carry over to the updated model. It is priced at Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in two colours presently – Pearl Metallic White and Ebony Black.
