Honda Africa Twin Adventure Roads variant revealed

This new variant only introduces aesthetic changes and remains mechanically unchanged.

Honda has launched a special edition variant of its flagship ADV called the Africa Twin Adventure Roads, to commemorate its group ride event that takes place globally. The 2024 edition, held in Morocco, saw riders covering about 2,500km off-road on their Africa Twin motorcycles.

This special edition variant will be limited to 75 units and available only in the UK. Finished in the brand's signature tricolour paint job, the Adventure Roads variant features engine guards, crash protection, radiator guards and a set of fog lights. Additionally, the fuel tank showcases an Adventure Roads logo along with new stripes on the wheels.

Other than these aesthetic updates, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged and shares its features with the top-end Africa Twin. Like the range topping variant, the Adventure Roads also includes electronic suspension that can be adjusted via its instrument cluster and will come with a slight price increase. Unfortunately, this variant will not be available in India and will be exclusively offered in the UK market.

The Africa Twin is powered by a 1,084cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 99hp at 7,500rpm and 109Nm at 6,000rpm. It’s equipped with a 24.5-litre fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 249kg for the DCT variant. Additionally, the it has a ground clearance of 210mm. Currently, the Africa Twin is available in India at Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the manual variant and Rs 17.55 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the DCT variant.
