Mahindra Two Wheelers has discontinued three of its automatic scooters, the Flyte, the Duro DZ and the Kine, and its geared motorcycle, the Pantero, from its portfolio offered in India. The Kine was a two-stroke automatic scooter and the Mahindra Pantero was a four-stroke geared motorcycle. The models are also not displayed on the company’s website — a clear indication of the brand's intention. Mahindra has taken this step due to the poor demand faced by these models. Mahindra also say a newer variant of the Duro will be launched soon and the Flyte will be sold only on institution based orders.

As of now, Mahindra has three models on sale across its brand portfolio — the Gusto, which is an automatic scooter, the Rodeo UZO 125, also an automatic scooter, and the Centuro which is a geared motorcycle and has five sub-models within it.

Mahindra is said to be working on its Mojo motorcycle that has been long due now. More as we get the news.
