Eleven-time national champion Rajini Krishnan and his team of coaches will hold the next edition of the FMSCI-affiliated Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing riding school on January 7 and 8 at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.
RACR offers three levels of coaching based on the experience that riders bring to the table. Newcomers will have to opt for the two-day Level 1 and 2 training packages. Those who have completed this previously and want a step up can opt for the Level 3 package. Common to all courses are theory sessions, followed by on-track sessions to put all you've learned into practice.
The price of the Level 1 and 2 training packages is Rs 19,999, while the Level 3 package will set you back by Rs 24,999. If you register in advance you can avail the early bird prices which are Rs 18,499 and Rs 22,999, respectively. If you are a track day enthusiast who has already completed the three-level training programme and are just looking for some track time, there are open track day sessions to be held as well, priced at Rs 6,999 (for one day). Again if you register earlier, the price drops to Rs 5,999.
As is the norm, there are a limited number of motorcycles and gear available for rent.
