It's been a busy few weeks for Royal Enfield, with the launch of the Goan Classic 350 and the debut of the new Scram 440. And it seems as though the company has no plans of slowing down, what with its venture into EVs with Flying Flea and the bevy of new launches it has queued up. One of those is the new Classic 650 Twin, which Royal Enfield will launch in India, come January 2025.
- Classic 650 is available in four colours
- Price expected to be between Rs 3.60 lakh - Rs 3.90 lakh
Royal Enfield Classic 650 price expectations
The Classic 650 Twin is a motorcycle that has been awaited for a long time, combining the timeless looks of the Classic 350 with the performance of Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform. The Classic 650 Twin borrows a lot of its fundamentals from the Shotgun 650, like the main frame, subframe, swingarm and some cycle parts. Where it differs from the Shotgun is in the styling, wheels and front suspension setup.

The styling is the biggest differentiator between the Shotgun and Classic 650 models, with the latter aping the design language of Royal Enfield’s bestseller, the Classic 350.
Four colours are available on the Classic 650 Twin - Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal and Black Chrome. We have been led to believe that the starting price for the big Classic will be in the Shotgun’s ballpark (Rs 3.59 lakh - Rs 3.73 lakh) and the top variant could cost somewhere around the same as the flagship Royal Enfield - the Super Meteor 650, which is priced between Rs 3.64 lakh and Rs 3.94 lakh.
