Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced a special edition version of the Hayabusa in India marking the motorcycle’s 25th anniversary. Nine months after its global debut, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition has been launched at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom) with a range of visual enhancements over the standard motorcycle.

Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition: what’s new?
The special edition motorcycle features an orange and black dual-tone paint scheme, and gets gold-anodised finish on the drive chain adjuster rotor and the internal part of the front brake disc. A unique 25th Anniversary logo is etched on the muffler, while there’s also a new 3D Suzuki emblem on the tank. The celebratory edition is available with a single seat cowling as standard.
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition: powertrain
Powering the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition is the same 1,340cc, in-line four, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that belts out 190hp and 150Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quickshifter. No mechanical changes have been made to the special edition version.
Suzuki Hayabusa: price and rivals
The standard version of the Hayabusa is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh, which makes the 25th Anniversary Edition Rs 80,000 costlier. While the Hayabusa has no direct rivals in India, it goes up against the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R on the pricing front.
