The Aerox MotoGP Edition comes draped in the livery of Yamaha’s MotoGP contender, the YZR-M1. Barring this special paint scheme and an increase in price by Rs 2,000, the Aerox MotoGP Edition is the same as the standard Aerox.
Powering this special edition Aerox is a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 15hp and 13.9Nm of torque. This maxi-scooter tips the scales at 126kg with a full 5.5-litres of fuel in its tank. Braking duties are handled by a 230mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear, mated to single-channel ABS. Typical of a maxi-scooter, it also rolls on large 14-inch wheels with sizes of 110/80-14 (front) and 140/70-14 (rear).
