Yezdi Adventure updated model details
Yezdi has done to the Adventure what Classic Legends did with the Jawa 350. The entire motorcycle has seen multiple changes to address known issues. Starting with the engine, the exhaust header is now centrally routed and the coolant flow has been optimised, which helps improve heat management, claims the company. The updated mill is now rated for 29.6hp and 29.8Nm – 0.7hp less than before but torque stays the same.
The bulky tank rails of the previous bike have now been done away with and taking their place on the updated Yezdi Adventure is a sleeker system. Unlike the older model where the tank rails would form a cage around the tank, the updated bike’s rails are just on either side of the fuel tank. The bash plate has also been redesigned and it now comes with an integrated sump guard.
The entire bike now weighs 1kg less than before and the tank rails now weigh 3.5kg less so overall the bike weighs 4.5kg less than before. The tank rails are a mandatory accessory, priced at Rs 3,499 (over and above the cost of the bike).
Four colours are available on the Yezdi Adventure – Tornado Black (Rs 2.10 lakh), Magnite Maroon (Rs 2.13 lakh), Wolf Grey (Rs 2.16 lakh) and Glacier White (Rs 2.20 lakh). Except for the Tornado Black, the other colours are dual-tone options. The starting price of the Yezdi Adventure is now a little lower, although it still goes up to the same amount for the top model.
