Honda Dio 125 updated to meet OBD2B norms

Dio 125 gets updates similar to other Honda commuter models

The Honda Dio 125 is based on the same platform as the Activa 125, which means it uses the same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill making 8.3hp and 10.5Nm of torque. This motor also gets start/stop tech, which should help in enhancing fuel efficiency. Aside from meeting the stricter emissions norms, the Dio 125 is mechanically identical to the previous bike.

What has changed is the Dio 125’s features set; it now uses the same 4.2-inch TFT display as the latest Activa and the smaller Dio. This display can be paired to your smartphone via Honda’s RoadSync Duo app, enabling functions like navigation alerts and call as well as message notifications. The top H-Smart variant gets keyless ignition, and both variants come standard with a USB-C charger.

Across both the variants, the Honda Dio 125 is available in five colours: Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black and Imperial Red.

The Honda Dio 125 is available in two variants: base (Rs 96,749) and H-Smart (Rs 1.02 lakh). Compared to the previous model, prices have gone up by Rs 8,798 and Rs 7,294, respectively.
