    2. Connected app another possibility

New Honda H-Smart electronic feature: details

A teaser released by Honda on its social media handle could herald the arrival of a number of different possibilities, which we’ve explored below.

For quite some time, competition like Hero with its iSmart Start/Stop technology or Yamaha with its mild-hybrid system, have been moving the fuel efficiency goalposts further. Honda already has the silent start feature in some of its vehicles, but not Start/Stop and this teaser could mean that the manufacturer is finally set to introduce this fuel efficiency enhancing feature on its products.

Another possibility is the trickling down of Honda’s Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), a feature seen on the CB300F and the H’ness CB350. This feature enables you to pair your Bluetooth communication device with the digital dash via Honda’s proprietary app and get notification alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.

We’ll know more soon so watch this space for all the latest details.
