    Recently we made a list of most powerful motorcycles under the 10 lakh mark. Well this is a follow up for those with a heavier wallet. The Indian motorcycle market has grown exponentially over the past decade, catering to a diverse range of riders. For those seeking power-packed performance at a price, the segment under Rs 15 lakh offers some thrilling options. Here’s a look at the most powerful motorcycles available in this price range.
     

    5. Triumph Tiger 900 GT

    Triumph has a rather diverse catalog of motorcycles and our first entry on this list is none other than their premium middle-weight ADV. The Tiger 900 is currently available in two variants: GT and Rally Pro. While the GT variant is a road biased version of the Tiger 900, the Rally Pro is a lot more off-road biased and commands a premium of Rs 2 lakh over the GT variant. However, for someone who rarely intends to leave the tarmac, the GT variant offers a sweet deal along with a potent 888cc in-line triple. This motor produces 108hp at 9500rpm and 90Nm at 6850rpm and is currently on sale for Rs 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Monster is Ducati’s middle-weight street fighter and is currently available at a price of Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
     
     

    3. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

    The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a middleweight sportbike that combines race-track pedigree with street-friendly usability. Its 636cc inline-four engine produces 129hp (With RAM Air) at 13,000rpm and 69Nm at 11,000rpm delivering a top speed north of 200kph. With features like traction control, multiple power modes, and a quick shifter, the Ninja ZX-6R ensures an engaging ride. It is available for Rs 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India) which makes it the most affordable motorcycle on this list. 
     
     

    2. Triumph Street Triple RS

    The Triumph Street Triple RS is known for its agility and performance. It houses a 765cc inline-three engine that churns out 130hp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm at 9000rpm. This bike is revered for its precise handling and versatility, making it a great choice for spirited rides and daily commutes alike. The Street Triple RS is equipped with advanced electronics, including ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and multiple riding modes. Currently available at a price of Rs 11.81 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which makes it the second triple engine on this list.

It features a 999cc inline-four engine derived from the legendary K5 GSX-R1000 which produces a whopping 152hp at 11,000rpm and 106Nm at 9000rpm. The bike incorporates features such as a ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes, traction control, and an updated LCD instrument panel. The Katana offers a blend of nostalgia and cutting-edge engineering, appealing to both classic enthusiasts and modern riders. At a price of Rs 13.61 lakh (ex-showroom, India) the Katana offers the most power for your money and sits at the top of our list. 
     
     

    Honorable mention

    The Triumph Speed Twin is a legendary name in the motorcycle world, since its inception in 1938. The current iteration, the Speed Twin 1200, retains its iconic heritage while incorporating modern day technology. It currently features a 1200cc parallel twin motor that produces 100hp at 7250rpm and 112Nm at 4250rpm. It strikes a  blend of classic aesthetics and modern engineering and exists as a nostalgic nod to its illustrious past. At a price of Rs 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India) it may not produce the most power but has the highest capacity engine and produces the most amount of torque compared to any other motorcycle on this list.
