    Moto Morini X-Cape 700: What’s new?

    Torque up by 14Nm

The biggest change has been made to the motor to meet the latest Euro 5+ norms. This has resulted in a rise in capacity from 649cc to 693cc, a 10hp increase in power and a 14Nm jump in torque. Now, there is also a slightly longer exhaust and some revisions to the overall styling. The company claims a dry weight of 213kg and 190mm ground clearance. Braking duties continue to be handled by a set of Brembo calipers, a 298mm dual-disc setup at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear.

As for the styling, there’s a new livery and slight changes to the front. There’s a new windscreen, too, and while the size of the TFT remains the same, that of the bezels has decreased, making the 7-inch TFT appear larger than before. The bike also gets a new seat, which has resulted in a 10mm increase in overall seat height, and it is available in a new Ebony Black colour. While this motorcycle has been launched overseas, it remains to be seen when Moto Morini plans on bringing the X-Cape 700 to our shores.
