Ola Electric has announced that the purchase window for its entry-level S1 Air e-scooter will open on July 28. The Ola S1 Air was first announced back in October 2022, with just a single variant priced at Rs 84,999. Since then, even though Ola has not delivered a single unit of the scooter, the line-up first expanded to three variants with different battery capacities, and subsequently, was cut back down to just one variant.

    1. Existing Ola customers and those who've booked to get Rs 10,000 discount
    2. Discounted price valid only till July 30
    3. Purchase window for no-booking holders to open on July 31

At present, the S1 Air is offered in a single variant equipped with a 3kWh battery pack. On July 28, the purchase window for this scooter will open for existing Ola customers and those who have already booked the S1 Air. These buyers can purchase it at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 lakh, and the purchase window will remain open only until July 30.

For all other buyers, the purchase window will open on July 31, and they will be charged Rs 1.20 lakh. Ola claims that deliveries of the S1 Air will begin in early August. The S1 Air arrives on the scene at an opportune moment, with prices for Ola’s existing e-scooters having recently shot up thanks to the FAME-2 subsidy cut.
