Citroen C3 Aircross indicative pricing
While Citroen has only announced the prices of the base variant, its dealers have received the indicative pricing of the remaining two trims in a bid to gather bookings. The Plus trim is expected to be priced between Rs 11.30 lakh-11.45 lakh, while the range-topping Max trim will likely be priced between Rs 11.95 lakh-Rs 12.10 lakh.
Meanwhile, the 7-seat configuration for the Plus and Max trim will be available for an additional Rs 35,000. The dual-tone paint and Vibe pack, reserved for the Plus and Max trims, will be available for Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively.
Citroen C3 Aircross You variant
The base-spec You variant only comes with a 5-seat configuration, which means it doesn't get the roof-mounted AC vents available on the 7-seat variants. It also misses out on the 10.2-inch touchscreen, speakers, reverse camera, rear wiper, rear defogger and USB chargers. Interestingly, the base-spec model still comes with almost all the safety features from the top-spec Max trim, including two airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold assist, TPMS and reverse parking sensors.
Citroen C3 Aircross rivals
The C3 Aircross enters a cutthroat segment and competes with the entry-level versions of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and the newly launched Honda Elevate.
It is priced aggressively as it lacks some essential, feel-good features like a sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated seats and six airbags that are offered in the top-spec trims of its competitors. For reference, the top-spec Seltos HTX with the 1.5-petrol engine and manual gearbox is priced at Rs 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is around Rs 3 lakh more than the highest indicative pricing of the C3 Aircross. While it misses out on a lot of features that its competitors get, Citroen is aggressively pricing the C3 Aircross. Furthermore, the top-sec Max trim at the higher indicative price of Rs 12.10 lakh is still more affordable than the top-spec Maruti Suzuki Brezza MT (Rs 12.48 lakh), which sits one segment lower.
Citroen C3 Aircross features, powertrain
The C3 Aircross comes with features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a reverse camera. Under the hood, it gets a 110hp, 190Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. To know more about it, read or watch our review.
