DC Design has pulled the covers off of its new sportscar, the TCA, at the Auto Expo 2018. Like we'd told you a few days ago, TCA is an abbreviation for 'Titanium, Carbon and Aluminium', materials used in the construction of the TCA. DC Design states that the TCA's styling is inspired by the LaFerrari and the Pagani Zonda. It's based on a heavily modified version of the Avanti platform. The TCA is longer, lower and wider than the Avanti.
Powering it is a 3.8-litre, 320hp V6 engine, which is paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Expect a 4.5 second 0-100kph time. The new transmission will be a welcome change, bearing in mind most weren't happy with the manual gearbox on the Avanti.
Only 299 units of the DC TCA will be made, and it has been priced at Rs 39 lakh (ex-showroom). DC Design has already received 60 bookings for the TCA, and deliveries will commence in October this year.
