After being spied undisguised earlier in Thailand at the begining of the year, the new Ford Everest facelift, expected to be sold in India under the Endeavour nameplate, has been spied again in the South East Asian country. The refreshed large SUV is the next model set to be unveiled following the reveal of the Ranger pick-up.
Unlike a previous spy shot, the two new, undisguised ones show the Endeavour facelift with styling tweaks such as the new radiator grille with three horizontal chrome slats, the slightly protruding fog lamp inserts on the front bumper, a silver finish for the lower part of the bumper, a new chrome-finished outside rear view mirror housing and new six-spoke alloy wheels. The images have not revealed what the rear or the interior look like.
Powering the facelift are the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel, making 160hp and 385Nm of torque, and the 3.2-litre five-cylinder diesel engines, producing 200hp and 470Nm of torque.
Ford is expected to launch the Endeavour facelift in India sometime during 2018, where it will rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Compass, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Isuzu’s MU-X. Besides the Endeavour, 2018 will see Ford add the refreshed Mustang, the new Figo and Aspire and its Figo-based cross-hatch, the recently unveiled Freestyle, to its India line-up.
