Honda Car India’s dealers have been authorised to offer significant discounts and benefits on the Japanese brand’s sedan portfolio, just as the year begins. The total discount on offer is inclusive of cash benefits, corporate discounts, exchange and loyalty bonuses. Here’s how much you could potentially save this month on your new Honda car.

Honda City e:HEV: Benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh
While 2024 City e:HEV models do not get any discounts this January, 2023 models have benefits up to Rs 1 lakh; this is a flat cash discount and there are no additional benefits. The City e:HEV is a strong-hybrid version of the fifth-gen City. It comes with the same 1,498cc, four-cylinder petrol engine coupled with two electric motors mated to an e-CVT gearbox. One electric motor is driven by the petrol engine, which helps charge the battery pack at the rear. The second motor – also called a traction motor – draws power from the battery and helps drive the front wheels. The frugal City hybrid is priced between Rs 18.89-20.39 lakh.
Honda City: Benefits of up to Rs 88,600
This month, Honda dealers are offering substantial discounts on the Honda City, enabling buyers to save up to Rs 88,600. Prospective buyers get a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000, loyalty bonus of up to Rs 4,000, exchange bonus of up to Rs 6,000 and special corporate benefits of up to Rs 25,000 for the Honda approved list of corporate units. As an added benefit, buyers of the VX and ZX trims can benefit from an extended warranty (fourth and fifth years) priced at Rs 13,600. The extended warranty is available for both 2023 and 2024 models.
The Honda City, which is renowned for its well-balanced ride, comfortable interiors and responsive engine, is competitively priced between Rs 11.63-16.11 lakh. It faces competition from the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Honda’s midsize sedan is equipped with a 121hp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
Honda Amaze: Benefits of up to Rs 72,000
2023 and 2024 versions of the Honda Amaze get offers of up to Rs 72,000 on select trims. Priced between Rs 7.10-9.86 lakh, this compact sedan is available with substantial discounts in January. The S trim gets multiple benefits, such as a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000, loyalty reward of up to Rs 4,000 and a corporate benefit of up to Rs 23,000. For the E and VX trims, discounts of up to Rs 52,000 and Rs 62,000, respectively, are on the table with a similar breakdown of offers.
The Honda Amaze is equipped with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 90hp and 110Nm of torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. While the compact sedan boasts a spacious cabin and great ride quality. In our market, the Amaze competes with the Hyundai Aura and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
