The Hyundai Creta is one of the hottest selling SUVs in India, even topping the sales charts with 7,527 units sold in the month of May 2021. To boost to those sales figures, Hyundai has added yet another variant in the Creta line-up, the SX Executive. The SX Executive will be available on both, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol as well as the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This new variant will slot in between the S and the SX that are currently on offer in the Creta line-up.

  • Hyundai Creta SX Executive variant to be priced Rs 82,000 lower than SX variant
  • SX Executive will be offered on both 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options
  • Only available with a manual gearbox

Hyundai Creta SX Executive petrol: price

According to dealer sources, the SX Executive 1.5-litre petrol manual variant will be priced at Rs 13.15 lakh. This helps bridge the price gap of Rs 1.78 lakh between the S (Rs 12.19 lakh) and the SX (Rs 13.97 lakh). While the SX Executive costs Rs 96,000 more than the S, it is Rs 82,000 cheaper than the SX. Its 1.5-litre petrol engine makes 115hp and 144Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive diesel: price

The Hyundai Creta diesel manual will also get the SX Executive variant. Similar to the petrol, it will help bridge price gap of Rs 1.78 lakh between the S (Rs 13.19 lakh) and the SX (Rs 14.97 lakh). While the Creta SX Executive diesel costs Rs 96,000 more than the S, it is Rs 82,000 cheaper than the SX. Its 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine makes 115hp and 250Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive variant: what features does it lose?

The big feature delete from the SX Executive is the infotainment system. The 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car features has been removed and no infotainment system has taken its place. Instead, a plastic blanking cover has been added to fill the void in the dashboard. Other changes include the lack of the Arkamys high-end audio setup, voice recognition and the burglar alarm. However, Hyundai will offer the SX Executive with a factory fitted Bluetooth mic, steering-mounted audio controls, shark-fin antenna, rear view camera and USB ports, in case buyers want to retrofit an aftermarket infotainment unit or dealer fit the one that is available on the higher trim levels.
