Skoda recently unveiled its newest electric SUV, the Elroq, at Prague in the Czech Republic. The new electric SUV that will sit below the Enyaq previews a new design direction for the brand. Interestingly, the Elroq does away with the Skoda arrow logo at the front, rear and the steering boss and instead carries the Skoda lettermark logo. And it's likely that the upcoming Kylaq will have the same treatment.
- Updates to the existing Skoda line-up to also get new logo
- Skoda India dealership network will also be updated
At the sidelines of the event, in response to a question from Autocar India about the Kylaq carrying the lettermark logo, Oliver Stefani, head of Skoda design, alluded to this, saying, “I cannot say anything about that now, adding, “This is the new design direction for the brand and our new products as well as updates of the existing line-up, when they happen, will all be updated accordingly.”
With this new design language, the only places where the Skoda arrow logo features are on the four wheel hub caps, and it is likely we will see such a treatment not just on the Kylaq, but also on updates of the Kushaq and Slavia when they arrive.
