Maruti Jimny discounts down by Rs 75,000 to Rs 1.55 lakh

Maruti Suzuki is also offering discounts on the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara and other models this month.

Maruti Suzuki's premium retail outlet, Nexa, is offering benefits on the Jimny, Fronx, Baleno, Grand Vitara, Ciaz and the Ignis this January. Vehicles manufactured in 2023 receive a higher discount compared to the 2024 models. Benefits include consumer offers, retail discounts, exchange bonuses and more. Read on to find out how much you can save on each model.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Discounts of up to Rs 1.55 lakh

Price range: Rs 12.74 lakh-14.89 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Alpha variants of the 2023 Maruti Jimny get benefits of up to Rs 1.55 lakh, while Zeta variants manufactured in the same year are offered with Rs 55,000 worth of benefits. If you’re looking for a 2024 model of the SUV, there’s a maximum discount of Rs 5,000 available on both variants.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny was launched last year as a successor to the popular Gypsy. While the SUV is capable off-road, the high sticker price resulted in sluggish sales. The SUV has since received multiple discounts, including a Rs 2.3 lakh discount in December.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis 

Discounts of up to Rs 62,000

Price range: Rs 6.38 lakh-8.16 lakh (ex-showroom)

2023 model year of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis manual get discounts of up to Rs 62,000, while automatic variants get up to Rs 52,000 off. For 2024 models, the discounts are marginally less but still substantial. Manual transmission variants made in 2024 get benefits of up to Rs 52,000, while automatic variants get discounts of up to Rs 47,000.

The Ignis is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 83hp and 113Nm. It’s available with the choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. The Ignis rivals the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Tata Tiago.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Discounts of up to Rs 55,000

Price range: Rs 9.30 lakh-12.29 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Ciaz midsize sedan's interiors are dated and its petrol engine is unexciting, but its spacious cabin and smart pricing make it a level-headed buy. It rivals the Skoda SlaviaVolkswagen VirtusHonda City and Hyundai Verna. Ciaz models manufactured in 2023 are offered with benefits of up to Rs 55,000, while models manufactured in 2024 get benefits of up to Rs 35,000.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Discounts of up to Rs 47,000

Price range: Rs 6.61 lakh-9.88 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been a strong performer for the Nexa brand and is available with petrol and CNG powertrains. Petrol models manufactured in 2023 are available with benefits of up to Rs 47,000, while CNG variants get up to Rs 32,000 off. 2024 models get benefits of up to Rs 32,000 on both petrol and CNG variants.

Maruti Grand Vitara

Discounts of up to Rs 35,000

Price range: Rs 10.70 lakh-19.83 lakh (ex-showroom)

Maruti’s midsize SUV offering, the Grand Vitara, is sensible and desirable. 2023 models of the Delta, Zeta and Alpha variants (including the hybrids) are offered with benefits of up to Rs 35,000, while 2024 models of the same variants are offered with benefits of up to Rs 20,000. The Grand Vitara is available with mild hybrid, hybrid and CNG powertrains, and rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Toyota Hyryder.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Discounts of up to Rs 30,000

Price range: Rs 7.47 lakh-12.98 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in 2023 and has seen strong demand. Maruti is now offering benefits of up to Rs 30,000 on 2023 models of the turbo-petrol variants and Rs 10,000 on the petrol variants. but CNG variants get no such discounts. The Fronx rivals the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
